NRF’s Competitive Programme for Research Graduate Programs


Research Graduate Programs To contribute to the development of fundamentally sound to science and scientific attempt in South Africa, in the Humanities, Natural and Social Sciences disciplines;
-To contribute to the production of knowledge across the entire spectrum of research and innovation value chain;
-To achieve world class research and related human capacity, and
-To promote or develop a paradigm, theoretical and methodological innovation entire spectrum of research.

Eligibility Details:

Research Graduate Programs Part-time employees at NRF recognized research institution2 in South Africa, which holds the NRF rating at the time of application.
-Retired academics / researchers, provided they meet all the criteria set as mentioned below:
-Conduct assessments of current and valid NRF
-Residing in SA,
Research Graduate Programs Official affiliation to the HEI-SA (for example, was appointed as professor emeritus, honorary research associate / professor, supernumerary / contract employee)
-It is an active researcher with a distinguished track record in research and postgraduate student supervision, and
-Actively mentoring / training postgraduate students / staff of young researchers.

University of Oxford Visiting Fellowships


International Student Scholarships A Visiting Fellow may be elected for a term of one, two, or three terms in the Oxford academic year.
Date 'Full Term' in Oxford for 2012-2013 are:
Michaelmas Term of Sunday, October 7 to Saturday, December 1, 2012
Hilary Term from Sunday, January 13 to Saturday, March 9, 2013
Futures Trinity Sunday, April 21 to Saturday, June 15, 2013

Selection Procedure Details:
