NRF’s Competitive Programme for Research Graduate Programs


Research Graduate Programs To contribute to the development of fundamentally sound to science and scientific attempt in South Africa, in the Humanities, Natural and Social Sciences disciplines;
-To contribute to the production of knowledge across the entire spectrum of research and innovation value chain;
-To achieve world class research and related human capacity, and
-To promote or develop a paradigm, theoretical and methodological innovation entire spectrum of research.

Eligibility Details:

Research Graduate Programs Part-time employees at NRF recognized research institution2 in South Africa, which holds the NRF rating at the time of application.
-Retired academics / researchers, provided they meet all the criteria set as mentioned below:
-Conduct assessments of current and valid NRF
-Residing in SA,
Research Graduate Programs Official affiliation to the HEI-SA (for example, was appointed as professor emeritus, honorary research associate / professor, supernumerary / contract employee)
-It is an active researcher with a distinguished track record in research and postgraduate student supervision, and
-Actively mentoring / training postgraduate students / staff of young researchers.

MSc Studentship: Research on System Closure 2011-12, Africa

International Student Scholarships The purpose of the closure system in any manufacturing process is to have an independent operation in which valuable resources are re-used and maximized, while the discharges and emissions are minimized. Concepts such as integrating many features that are attractive. Postgraduate Research International Student Scholarships


Doctoral International Student Scholarships will also be considered if research subjects are considered a high priority for PRF.The scholarship is open to citizens of the Republic of South Africa who have qualified for entry into Masters or Ph D degree at recognized tertiary institution.

Successful Candidates:

The
International Student Scholarships successful candidate must conduct a research project approved under the leadership of a supervisor who is recognized at the university concerned. This project can be used toward fulfillment of requirements for a postgraduate qualification. A formal contract should be signed by both parties.Candidates FRP must apply for a scholarship to the university administration, and the names of those who have applied for the first time must be listed in order of priority by the University. International Student Scholarships Applications from candidates selected by the university was then submitted to the FRP. Selected candidates may be asked to attend a personal interview, the costs carried by FRP.

Standard Chartered International Student Scholarships


The International Student Scholarships programmes relate to Asia, Africa, and the Middle East/NorthAfrica.
Eligible Programmes:To view the full list of eligible programmes and associated fees please download the relevant form from the download box at the top right. The International Student Scholarships are available only to students taking full time programmes. Part-time students are not eligible.
Candidate Criteria:-Possess a First Class Honours degree, from a UK institution or overseas equivalent
-Open only to applicants paying fees at the UK/EU rate
-An interest in completing a dissertation on a topic that is of demonstrable relevance to the broad business of Standard Chartered is desirable
-The scholarship cannot be held along with any other major scholarship or studentship.
